No Flight Records is born. The new record label was founded by some members of the Flight Band, the arts and cultural association based in Milan that for more than a decade has been active in promoting the knowledge and production of improvised music gravitating around the concept of jazz. No Flight Records proposes itself as a point of reference for those artists who identify with the broad but distinctive definition of “creative music”. The label offers qualified services for packaging and advertising the produced works and eventually placing them in the distribution chain. The objective of No Flight Records is to create a high-quality catalogue of international scope open to the contributions of either well-known or up-and-coming artists engaged in the exploration of contemporary musical languages.
